Joel Tobeck (born June 2, 1971 in Auckland, New Zealand), has over 20 years acting experience in New Zealand and Australia. He comes from an acting background, with his mother Liddy Holloway being a well known theatre and TV actress in New Zealand and father Bryan Tobeck. Joel attended the Auckland Performing Arts School where he trained as a dancer and is also an accomplished musician. ==Career== Tobeck is known for his part as Tim Williams in the Australian television series ''Tangle'' and as Donny, in the American series ''Sons of Anarchy''. In the early 1990s Joel Tobeck was the breakfast show weatherman on Auckland radio station 95bfm. As a singer and guitarist, he often performed with friends in bands such as The Applicators, Wide Lapels, Bard's Band, and Splitter. He was in the Darcy Clay band and appeared in the house band Tadow on the TV3 show ''Ice As'' where he was famous for his Mick Jagger impressions.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Joel Tobeck )〕 One of his first big acting breaks came when he was cast in New Zealand hospital soap opera ''Shortland Street'' in 1996 as a baddie in a wheelchair. Tobeck played the main villain Creegan in the TV Series ''Cleopatra 2525''.
